It seems my responsibilities have fallen under one category, Chief Cook & Bottle Washer. All I’ve done upon return from the Closing the Gap conference is manage things that had fallen through the cracks. Though my mind is refreshed, all this work has taken a toll resulting in exhaustion. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, yard work, appointments and personal needs, and I don’t mean mine, makes me wonder how do parents do it all?
Trying to stay on top of everything is like herding cats, it’s nearly impossible. Unfortunately, blogging, reading and keeping up with information that flows from my computer world has to be put on hold. Family first. Honestly, how do people do all of the above and connect to forty FB groups, as well as read blogs?
For now, I have to go put my hostess apron on. I’ve had company all day and dinner guests have arrived. Didn’t I say that I had a lot of catching up to do? One of my guests brought me a gift, Peach Moonshine! When my mind stops spinning, I want to write about yesterday. Jess had a film crew follow her, ” a day in the life” perspective. Till then…. all for now.
PS- Shorty, sorry I bagged on the kick boxing class, but my butt had already been kicked. Promise, next week, no lame excuses like rain.
