Binding: cutting bias strips

November 2, 2014 by Mary Leave a Comment

Once the quilting has finished, there is one more step to do before it’s finished, binding.

The hardest part of this is remembering how to lay the material out for cutting. It seems to be a tradition now for me to watch this video! Gene and I go way back. No, I don’t know him personally, but I’ve watched this video for years to help me before I start cutting!

Quick and easy mitered corners when sewing the binding on. Actually, this isn’t the method I use. I sew my binding on to the front and then hand sew to complete.
